The Bayshore Highlands Fund (the "Fund") supports projects that accelerate strategic land conservation in the New Jersey Bayshore and the Pennsylvania Highlands.
The Fund provides grants and loans for land conservation transactions that conserve wildlife habitat, provide new and expanded outdoor recreational access, protect clean water, or preserve farm and forestland. The Fund also will help to raise visibility about the regions and conservation transactions within them; and research, promote and pilot, where possible, innovative conservation financing tools and practices.

In 2011 eight projects, that will protect more than 1,700 acres, were approved through the Fund's first round of grants. Click here for descriptions of the projects completed to date.

Bill Rawlyk joined OSI as Middle Atlantic Field Coordinator for the Bayshore-Highlands Fund with responsibility for loans and grants in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
