Bridging the Gaps
Delays in public and private funding can create uncertainty and prevent land conservation groups from closing deals. In some instances, even the possibility of delay makes landowners and non-profits hesitant to undertake new preservation initiatives. OSI’s Conservation Finance Program seeks to facilitate land transactions by getting conservation dollars where they’re needed, when they’re needed.
