Cape Romain Marsh, Pappas Island, SC, USFWSSuccessful Protection of Wildlands on Pappa's Island
One of the last undeveloped islands within Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge, SC,  is now protected, thanks to OSI, The Coastal Conservation League, the South Carolina Environmental Law Project, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and The Nature Conservancy. The property, once slated for development, safeguards wildlife habitat.

Nicholas A. Tonelli Delaware WatergapStudy Finds Resilient Lands in the Delaware Water Gap

A major victory toward long-term protection of the Delaware River Watershed has been realized with the addition of three new properties to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Also OSI's “Resilience Analysis” has captured and inventoried the entire park’s critical role as a regional haven for wildlife and natural moderator of flooding and drought.
